I have Xanax and Lunesta which work well, but I don’t want to take them all the time.
I have Alteril which also works pretty well, too.
I’ve heard Valerian Root is effective. Any other suggestions?
This stuff works great for me. It is not habit forming and I don’t wake up feeling loopy in the morning like I do with other sleep aides.

I’m afraid I’ve tried both valerian root and melatonin. Neither of them worked for me. What’s more the evidence from clinical trials is disappointing.
Camomile tea, tryptophan (from warm milk) and burning lavendar oil may all help but you probably already know that.

valerian, melatonin and 5htp are your options
take 5htp if u also suffer from anxiety and/or depression
valerian is ok but many dont benefit from this
melatonin is an excellent choice as it is generally good for our body aside from being a sleep aid
at the moment, melatonin is the one im taking after trying almost all natural options
melatonin chewable works far better than regular tablet, melatonin is also inexpensive, but dont take those above 3mg tablet, u only need very little of it to have effect, there is one brand that is only 1/2 mg, i cant mention the brand as im not sure if it is allowed here, but its very inexpensive yet effective, u can buy it online and get 5 dollar discount if u are a first time buyer, u can email me for info
